The objective of this project is to determine the thermodynamic properties of the most important hydrothermal ore minerals of cobalt (carrollite (CuCo2S4), linnaeite (Co3S4), skutterudite (CoAs3), safflorite (CoAs2), and cobaltite (CoAsS)) to support enhanced understanding of the primary mineralization of hydrothermal cobalt deposits in Canada.
