Title:
The thermal reconstruction of pegmatite fields at the time of dike propagation and emplacement: a guide for targeting concealed lithium and tantalum deposits
Agreement Number:
GC-130020S
Agreement Value:
$100,000.00
Agreement Date:
Oct 1, 2021 - Mar 31, 2023
Description:
The proposed research aims to reconstruct the thermal aureole within a pegmatite field to define zones that may potentially host unexposed, near-surface lithium-enriched pegmatite dikes and apply this novel approach to Meguma group metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks in the region surrounding the spodumene-bearing (Lithium-Cesium-Tantalum type) pegmatites near Brazil Lake, Nova Scotia.
