The objective of this project is to support the development of a new set of mineral cards that will highlight the 31 minerals/metals deemed critical for the sustainable economic success of Canada and Canadian allies, and for the drive towards a low-carbon, digitized economy.

The mineral card sets would respond to public requests for more information on critical minerals and their use, and could promote the Canadian mining industry's role in supplying global markets with responsibly-sourced inputs required for clean technologies, including wind turbines, electric vehicle batteries, and power grids.
