Organization:
Natural Resources Canada
Expected Results:

A National Mining Career Awareness Strategy will attract youth to the minerals and metals industry, which is expected to face labour supply challenges within the next decade due to retirements. As the current perception of the mining and minerals sectors is not strong amongst most job seekers, the Program will build capacity among mining stakeholders to participate in outreach and engagement activities to engage diverse youth.
