Description:

The objective of this Project is to assist in the protection of our natural resources through the scaling up forest and landscape restoration, enabling inclusive landscape governance and equipping the next generation of forest leaders.

Expected Results:

Under this Project, the Proponent will strengthen the research capacity of the next generation of forest leaders, mostly women, towards master's degree research studies on forest and landscape restoration. The Proponent will also provide technical assistance to Brazilian and Guatemalan members of the Latin American model forest network on governance approaches for forest and landscape restoration and the promotion of sustainable management and use of natural resources at the landscape level.
