Agreement Value:
$447,350.00
Agreement Date:
Aug 2, 2023 - Apr 30, 2026
Description:
Building on work done in collaboration with the Invasive Species Centre during early intervention strategy Phase 2, this project is examining new methods and data to further our understanding of spruce budworm (SBW) migration by using isotopes to identify where a SBW moth originated.
Organization:
Natural Resources Canada
Expected Results:
Create a map of isotope spatial variations at high-resolution to facilitate the identification of the origin of long-distance migrants at specific trapping sites to inform short to medium term planning purposes and risk management of spruce budworm.
