Specifically, programming fosters greater energy efficient and electrification of transportation, as well as growing the production, and end-use of clean fuels in two essential sectors of the economy – transportation and industry.This programming also supports implementation of key policy objectives, including implementing the Clean Fuels Regulations, complementing enhanced carbon pricing, more stringent vehicle and industry emission standards, all laying the foundation to be net-zero by 2050.
