Grants and Contributions:
1) A technologically advanced economic viable DyTb separation process 2) Increased process efficiency due to Artificial Intelligence 3) Better product quality control due to automation 4) Better safety performance by reducing manual work 5) Better environmental performance due to recycling of process water and chemicals 6) Better operating costs due to optimized use of reagents 7) Robust solvent extraction cell design suitable for DyTb separation 8) DyTb separation process ready for up-scale 9) Addressing a gap, there is no DyTb REE production currently in Canada
Grant or contribution awarded and spanning more than one fiscal year.
The Program's objective is to to establish a Critical Minerals Centre of Excellence and to conduct targeted research and development for critical minerals. This will contribute to developing pilot plants and organizing a prize challenge to address specific technological challenges to bring critical minerals toward pre-commercialization in Canada.
