" The Proponent will develop a novel pressurized building envelope that eliminates air and moisture infiltration to improve energy efficiency in residential housing. " The Proponent will assemble a corShell prefabricated home to demonstrate its affordability and energy efficiency, addressing costs, building trades training, and sustainability barriers to implement Net-Zero buildings in the residential sector. This building will serve to further improve its design and train people from First Nations to assemble it.

The objective is to improve energy efficiency in Canada. Canadian energy users in the industrial, residential, commercial/institutional, and transportation sectors must have access to the information and qualified expertise required to make informed choices on energy consumption in the marketplace. Across all of these sectors, products that use energy and affect energy consumption will be a specific focus.
