Description:
The purpose of this project is to address barriers to adopting energy efficiency by assisting Tetlit Zheh homeowners in reducing the amount of energy consumed in their homes. This involves providing home energy audits, implementing energy-efficient upgrades, replacing appliances, improving insulation and draft proofing in 30 homes. The project aims to collect data for potential future retrofits such as foundation repair, HVAC upgrades, and window replacement. Additionally, a public awareness campaign will be conducted to educate the community on the benefits of energy conservation and guide them on accessing rebates for energy-efficient products.

Expected Results:
Designed to serve the entire Tetlit Zheh community, the project will not only enhance energy efficiency in 30 homes, but support workforce readiness and training initiatives by offering training opportunities in home energy audits and insulation apprenticeships, empowering the community and laying the foundation for employing the local workforce in future phases of the project.
