Grants and Contributions:
As an international platform for collaboration, the 4E TCP provides policy guidance to its members and other governments concerning energy using equipment and systems and prioritizes technologies and applications with significant energy consumption and energy saving potential within the residential, commercial and industrial sectors (not including transport). This will be achieved through the delivery of technical workshops and reports under the 4E Executive Committee (ExCo), and through publications of technical reports and policy briefs under 4E Efficient, Demand Flexible Networked Appliances (EDNA).
The objective is to improve energy efficiency in Canada. Canadian energy users in the industrial, residential, commercial/institutional, and transportation sectors must have access to the information and qualified expertise required to make informed choices on energy consumption in the marketplace. Across all of these sectors, products that use energy and affect energy consumption will be a specific focus.
