Under This Project, the Proponent will strengthen gender equity in sustainable forest and land management and advance the next generation of forest leaders through the development of graduate level forest curriculum and study programs, with a focus on sustainable forest landscape management. The proponent will also allocate regional research grants as Thailand’s original national forest school and promote the establishment of collaborations with international institutions including Regional Model Forest Network - Asia.

The objectives of the Global Forest Leadership (GloFor) Program is to advance Canada’s international forest sector leadership. This will be completed through activities that focus on expanding Canada’s international engagement, collaborations and partnerships, as well as expertise.
