The objective of this project is to support the creation of BIM libraries of Canadian wood construction systems, focusing on digital descriptions of panelized and modular/volumetric systems, usable via the digital BIM platform for off-site industrialized construction.

Once these BIM libraries are available for the various wood systems and technologies, the project will give BIM users across Canada access to a robust, free online library of downloadable BIM resources that will help Canadian wood systems achieve more of the functionality and benefits already established by other materials industries that have been organized enough to establish their presence in the BIM market.
