The agreement will serve as Canada's annual membership fee in the International Energy Agency (IEA) Technology Collaboration Programme (TCP) on Energy Efficient End-Use Equipment (4E), a 15-country member collaboration forum to advance equipment energy efficiency through technical and policy activities.

Expected Results:

As an international platform for collaboration, the 4E TCP provides policy guidance to its members and other governments on energy using equipment and systems and prioritizes technologies and applications with significant energy consumption and energy saving potential within the residential, commercial and industrial sectors (not including transport). This will be achieved through the delivery of technical workshops, as well as publications of technical reports and policy briefings.
