The objective of this Project is to assist in the protection of our natural resources through the scaling up of forest and landscape restoration, enabling inclusive landscape governance and equipping the next generation of forest leaders.

Expected Results:

Under this project, the Proponent will improve the habitat of natural forests, teak plantations and sacred forests degraded by invasive plant species in India’s Kodagu Model Forest. The Proponent will also restore agricultural land abandoned due to human-animal conflict and both develop and replicate cost-effective methods to restore landslide affected agricultural lands.
