Grants and Contributions:
The British Columbia Biomass Opportunity Atlas increases access to complex data. It provides a practical tool to create tangible, data-driven biomass feedstock information for local bio-energy projects, fostering economic self-determination. The Atlas drastically reduces upfront due diligence costs by providing a clear, consolidated view of residual biomass feedstock availability and validated logistics costs, and provides a powerful tool for evidence-based policy making, allowing leaders to model and quantify the impact of decisions on the regional bioeconomy.
