Organization:
Natural Resources Canada
Expected Results:

The Call to Action on Enhancing Energy Security has as one of its objectives the need to address supply chain challenges in the energy sector—both for renewables and conventional energy sources. This initiative will support efforts to enhance the availability and transparency of data on supply chains underway by the IEA to support the delivery of Canada’s wider priorities, including relevant G7 outcomes on energy security and critical minerals developed under Canada’s Presidency. The initiative would support IEA analysis to assess the capacity of like-minded IEA members to address supply chain data gaps affecting manufacturing and the supply of energy system components, addressing the need for greater mapping, best practices, advanced tools and reporting.
