The objective of this project is to inform forest practitioners from across Canada on Canadian sustainable forest management practices and topics including climate change, forest innovation, history, indigenous ecological knowledge, and bioeconomy.

This project will promote the forest sector, its history and significance to Canada’s culture and identity, and its relevance to the country’s environmental and economic future as a critical renewable resource. It will also provide venues for the exchange and mobilization of knowledge through rich learning experiences, incorporate and highlight new tools, techniques and processes, deepen existing professional knowledge, build skills and knowledge using case studies and experiential techniques and learning, engage organizations and utilize experience to support and accelerate innovation within the forest sector.
