Description:
The objective of this project is to modernize and automate the local electricity distribution grids of four communities in Simcoe County in Ontario to improve grid reliability, resiliency and operational efficiency.

Expected Results:
This project will install reclosers, switches, and fault indicators across the Proponent’s network. These devices will reduce outage durations by enabling quicker fault detection, faster service restoration, and remote operation of field equipment. The upgrades will strengthen grid reliability, improve operational efficiency, and support future integration of distributed energy resources across the four communities served.
