Program Purpose:

The work will focus on improving the understanding of durability and performance degradation of fuel cell designs through the development of durability design curves that correlate degradation mechanisms and rates with key operational and structural parameters. The findings will enable trade-off analyses of durability, operating conditions, and design/cost for the next generation Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA) design options.
