Program Purpose:
The objective/purpose of this project is to fund capital improvements at the AV Nackawic Inc. pulp mill in Nackawic, New Brunswick, that will permit the mill to store and better control utilization of strong black liquor, thereby reducing the amount of fossil fuel burned in the recovery boiler and increasing the energy efficiency of the facility. This capital improvement includes the installation of a new black liquor storage tank.
