Program Purpose:
The objective of this project is to support the development of forestry related skills (forest management, harvesting and the use of small sawmills) in local communities to assist in addressing local housing needs. Training will add to the skill set of existing journeymen carpenters in four communities. The carpenters can then train community members in basic home construction.
