Program Purpose:

The objective of this project is to construct and commission a 2 megawatt electrical biomass Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system at University of British Columbia's Point Grey campus. The operation of the biomass-fuelled combined heat and power system is believed to make a significant contribution to achieving the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) targets of the University of British Columbia (UBC) and to further UBC leadership on clean energy technologies and sustainability.
