Program Purpose:
The objectiv e of this project is to demonstrate an innovative 500kW tidal power plant at a remote coastal community in British Columbia (Dent Island Lodge). The project's three main objectives are : To prove out a new, cost effective technology for tidal and river stream resources; To provide a showcase to launch product sales and services for this Canadian company; and To develop the foundation for developing a management system for remote and distributed power generation.
