Program Purpose:

This Project is to develop power purchase agreements and secure capital financing and loan guarantees for a wood pellet and biomass-fueled 4 Megawatt cogeneration plant to be constructed in Armstrong, ON, adjacent to Whitesand First Nation, by supporting the negotiations and development process. As weill, this project will capitalize on opportunities arising from forest tenure modernization through establishment of forest management systems and capacity development.
