The purpose of this agreement is to demonstrate Smart Grid technologies in a Northern context. The demonstration will put in place monitoring and survey methods that will determine whether customers are supportive of the demonstration, and measure performance against target metrics over the five year reporting period of a demand reduction of 1-2% and energy savings of 1% that can be presented to the regulator with a full business case to justify the implementation of further similar technologies.
