Program Purpose:

The purpose of this agreement is to allow for Canada's participation in the Electric Vehicles Initiative, which is a multi-government policy forum established in 2009 and operating under the auspices of the Clean Energy Ministerial. This initiative is related to policies and programs for hybrid and electric vehicles with a focus on knowledge sharing that supports electric vehicle deployment. Currently there are 15 government participants.
