Two or more departments or agencies are involved in the funding of and/or the awarding of a particular grant or contribution award. Grant or contribution awarded and spanning more than one fiscal year.

The purpose of this agreement is to support the development of a new forest industry in the Northwest Territories. This project will assist several communities in the South Slave Region of the Northwest Territories to participate in development, management and harvest of the timber resources near their communities in a way that is environmentally sustainable. This project is intended to create a new resource-based economy in the region, with direct and indirect employment benefits to several communities.
