Program Purpose:
The purpose of the agreement is to support the development of hybrid spill treating agents to be used as rapid response agents to combat marine oil spills at large scale. The resulting agents would have both herding and gelling properties against a wide range of petroleum products ranging from gasoline to heavy oils such as diluted bitumen.
