Description:

The purpose of the agreement is to address gaps in understanding earthquake risks in Canada and allow Canadians access to best practice hazard and risk assessment tools. This will also be the basis for a national earthquake risk assessment framework.

In this Project, the proponent will work collaboratively with public, private, academic and non-government organizations worldwide to advance disaster risk reduction. The proponent will develop data, tools and information and conduct hazard and risk assessments for improving the global understanding of earthquake hazard and risk.
