Promoting access to open government, innovation within the natural resource sector and gender equality. Benefits to Stakeholders: The Proponent helps foster debate of how government revenues are spent, builds capacity for civil society to hold governments and companies accountable, and establishes permanent fora towards multi-stakeholder dialogue. This includes online publishing of natural resource inventories, and Beneficial Ownership disclosure.

To encourage and accelerate innovation in the natural resources sectors; to assist in the protection of our natural resources; to encourage and develop new and more efficient techniques and technology for sustainable development of our natural resources; and, to provide for a better understanding and knowledge of our natural resources.
