The objective of this Project is to expand the existing mandate of the Proponent to include national wildland fire prevention and mitigation initiatives. The Proponents capacity for preparedness and response will be reinforced to ensure it can properly meet the demands of its members, while also preparing the Proponent to accommodate an expanded prevention and mitigation mandate.
