Description:
The objective of this project is to protect the forests by keeping spruce budworm populations in Atlantic Canada below epidemic numbers through targeted insecticide treatments. The secondary objective is to enable scientific research into the effectiveness of early intervention in the management of spruce budworm outbreaks.

The treatment methodology ensures that only susceptible forests with known populations of SBW "hot spots" are treated with the minimun quantity of products at the optimal point in their larval development.
