Description:

The objective of this Project is to assist in the protection of our natural resources through the scaling up of forest and landscape restoration, enabling inclusive landscape governance and equipping the next generation of forest leaders.

Expected Results:

Under this Project, the Proponent will support agroforestry and tree planting for the development of green value chains in the Dja et Mpomo Model Forest region of Cameroon, which is located in the dense tropical forest of the Congo Basin. The Proponent will also undertake local governance activities aimed at conserving biodiversity and restoring degraded forests, improving food security and resilience to climate change, providing access to land and natural medicinal resources for vulnerable groups, promoting entrepreneurship and creating green jobs.
