Program Purpose:

The objective of this agreement is to fund capital improvements at the Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp Inc. mill in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. The "Low Consistency Refining" project will increase the production of renewable energy and improve the energy efficiency of the mill by installing two refiners, two electric motors and associated equipment that will reduce the energy required in the pulp refining process.
