Program Purpose:

The objective/purpose of this Project is to fund capital improvements at the AbiBow Canada Incorporated mill in Fort Frances, Ontario that will reduce energy usage at the mill. In addition, this project will reduce environmental impacts through reduced landfill of solid waste, reduced greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, reduced chemical usage, and improved final effluent discharge quality.
