Program Purpose:

The objective of this project is to assess the outcomes and impacts of the Aboriginal Junior Ranger Program in the prairie provinces between 2003 and 2011. These forestry focused aboriginal youth training activities involved over 800 aboriginal youth and provided them with an exposure to many aspects of forest management and career skills. The main focus of the project it to track these youth and see if the program assisted them in their career paths.
