Program Purpose:

The main objective of the project is to develop a decision support system (DSS) for the management of the silviculture of complex stands. This tool should allow the optimization of an intervention plan at the the cutblock level, identifying the microstands to treat, and the silviculture prescription for each of them. The tool should also allow to integrate innovative silviculture treatments in the planning process.
