This project will promote fuel reduction activities by supporting businesses to develop action plans to save fuel, resulting in reduced operational costs and increased competitiveness. The proponent will identify 8-10 industry member companies with high potential for optimizing their freight, send an engineer to characterize the freight operations and fuel use, and develop a list of opportunities to reduce fuel costs, as well as establish a monitoring plan to track implementation.
