The main objective of this Project is to choose a number of non timber forest products existing in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region and determine their economic potential (potential sells, jobs created, tax revenues) through a series of models and analysis that could then be replicated in other regions of Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba. This Project will also allow the Proponent to continue the work already undertaken on traditional knowledge exchange and training and capacity building for the youth.
