Program Purpose:

The purpose of the Grant Arrangement is to provide funding support to the technical secretariat for the Generation IV International Forum (GIF). The Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), a specialized agency within the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), will effectively coordinate and support the multilateral international research and development initiative to establish the feasibility and performance capabilities of the next generation of nuclear energy systems.
