Program Purpose:
The purpose of this agreement is to fulfill a G7 mandate to assist the recipient with the costs of hosting the Secretariat for the International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation (IPEEC) as requested by signatory countries. The purpose of IPEEC is to facilitate actions that yield high energy efficiency gains. IPEEC promotes energy efficiency worldwide by providing a high-level forum for discussion, consultation and exchange of information.
