Fortek Security Systems is Toronto-based Access Control Systems Company serving a variety of businesses includingx000D
commercial and residential buildings, hotels and businesses. Fortek has systems installed all over Canada, USA, Australia, Libyax000D
and Mali. In the proposed project, Fortek is partnering with Centennial Colleges WIMTACH (Wearable, Interactive and Mobilex000D
technologies access center in Health). WIMTACH offers technology development services to small and medium sized enterprisesx000D
in the Greater Toronto Area. WIMTACH will provide technical development and research management expertise to the project.x000D
Successful completion of proposed project will provide Fortek Security with a cloud-based, key-less entry system with anx000D
accompanying security management software and a mobile application. It will greatly accelerate the commercialization process forx000D
FOrtek's proposed product, paving the way for a commercial launch. Over the next five years, increased sales will drive Forteksx000D
growth, with the company hiring more than 21 employees to handle product development, sales, marketing, client relations,x000D
technical support and manufacturing support. Annual revenues are expected to reach approximately $5.9 million by the year 2021.
