environment. To do this they will engage the expertise a researcher at the University of Calgary whosex000D
expertise is advanced technology solutions and sophisticated computing techniques. The researcher will assistx000D
in developing and providing an integrated environment for healthcare solutions. This will cover the followingx000D
components: 1) an integrated data management platform to handle all data related aspects for the ShareSmartx000D
application from collection to storage and processing for knowledge discovery leading to informative decisionx000D
making and guidance, 2) a Web-based platform that interacts with the ShareSmart Mobile App and thex000D
ShareSmart Web Admin Portal that is secure, encrypted and follows best practice considerations in healthx000D
information privacy management and electronic medical records (EMR) protocols, 3) an intelligent mobile appx000D
and alongside a Web-based forum to assess user interaction with the ShareSmart app, and 4) a multi-lingualx000D
communication environment. Currently the company supports English and French but they plan to expand theirx000D
coverage to other languages, which will be incrementally integrated and adapted into the environment,x000D
benefiting from the multicultural presence in the University of Calgary researchers research group.
