Program Purpose:

In this research effort we will provide to the MWDPlanet and Lumen Corporation access to the unique knowledge and expertise in aim to develop the electromagnetic telemetry noise analyzer. In particular, we will identify electromagnetic noise by developing noise modelling and noise filtration protocols. Along the development of the noise models and noise filters we will incorporate the properties of the ground formation available from the geologically free available data. We will develop a modelling framework which explains a signal attenuation and we will explore the mechanisms behind different types of signal attenuation protocols and geological formations which are found at oil rigs. x000D
