This project, belonging to the "Quality Systems Engineering" NSERC-listed topic within Industrialx000D
Engineering, focuses on analyzing the current Integrated Management System (IMS) and Customer Satisfactionx000D
(CS) components at Durabuilt, as well as on providing recommendations for an introduction of the relatedx000D
augmentative integration. A new framework for an application of augmentative integration models, specificallyx000D
for ISO 10000 CS standards and in the manufacturing and installation of windows and doors, will be fostered.x000D
Solutions for issues in augmentative integration of standardized management systems with respect to thex000D
differing numbers of systems and various directions of such integration will be pursued overall, while benefitsx000D
particular to Durabuilt are expected to include assisting in the improvement of the sustainability of thex000D
company's IMS and its subsystem integration, as well as facilitating further traditional (e.g., ISO 45001) andx000D
augmentative (e.g., ISO 10001/4) integration. Through the implementation of ISO 10000 customer satisfactionx000D
standards and the integration of the related systems, Durabuilt can augment not only assurances to itsx000D
stakeholders, but also its current IMS. Such an implementation and integration of standardized systems focusedx000D
on consumers can be an example within and outside of Durabuilt's industry sector, both in Alberta and inx000D
Canada, and for various parties, including Canadian consumers and standardizers.
