Program Purpose:
Western University is partnering with Stillwater Canada Inc. to perform a pilot geophysical survey to imagex000D
subsurface geology at 1-5 km depth within the Coldwell Alkaline Complex in Marathon, Ontario. A passivex000D
seismic survey will be conducted to assess the frequency content of the background seismic noise (ambientx000D
vibrations) wavefield at the site and its suitability to image to the depths of interest. The outcomes of this pilotx000D
testing project will impact future mineral exploration development at the site.
