Collaborative Research and Development Grants - Project
Program Purpose:

Water resources are crucial to society, ecosystems, and industry. Management of water resources requires access to information, yet this information often does not exist, or is difficult to access and understand. We intend to develop are a free, online conjunctive water management tool(s) for all of North America which will be transformational in the management of groundwater and surface water. This research project will test scientific methods and clarify priorities to support the development of this next generation water tool. The research will be conducted by Gleeson and his 'Groundwater Science and Sustainability' research group in close collaboration with Foundry Spatial CEO Ben Kerr and staff while the applicants also establish partners to operationalize this into a market-ready product that will offer clear and simple communication of water resources information. x000D
