Program Purpose:

TeTechS is a high-technology company specializing in development and sale of terahertz spectroscopy devices,x000D
which use terahertz radiation spanning wavelengths of 0.03-3 mm. These unique wavelengths allow terahertzx000D
radiation to pass through materials which are otherwise opaque and provide detailed spectral information onx000D
materials. As such, terahertz radiation is ideal for materials testing. TeTechS has had great success in standardx000D
materials testing (e.g., plastic materials) but would like to develop devices for complex materials testing (e.g.,x000D
composite materials). To achieve this, TeTechS and the Collier Research Group are partnering to developx000D
innovative terahertz signal processing systems. The techniques to be developed include algorithms and filtersx000D
to reduce unwanted signal artifacts. These developments will ultimately be applied by TeTechS.
