Program Purpose:

Ecopia is an international supplier of high definition (HD) mapping products, which result, among others, fromx000D
traversing actual road networks by self-operated vehicles. Currently, Ecopia's street view vehicle operator usesx000D
a self regulated method to collect imagery data in the city of Toronto. This approach utilizes no optimizationx000D
methods with respect to traffic or routing conditions. Instead, the vehicle operator chooses a "target zone" thatx000D
they intend to cover in one work-shift and attempt to finish that using only intuition on how to drive it. Ecopiax000D
is looking to expand the imagery collection program across Canada and will require efficient methodologiesx000D
(algorithms) to traverse road networks so as to optimize the time required for data collection in new cities.
